Linking Your Physical NFC Card to Your Card User
If you’ve purchased a physical NFC card from us, you can link it to your existing Webotic.One digital business card user account.
Once linked, you can utilize the NFC Tap functionality, and the QR code printed on your card will also display your business card.
For Card Users:
- Access Your Dashboard:
- Open the Webotic.One dashboard via the Mobile App or Web Dashboard*.
- Navigate to Card Management:
- Go to “Card Management > My NFC card”.
- Open the Scanner:
- Click on the “Open the Scanner” button in the “WEBOTIC.ONE NFC CARD” widget box.
- Scan the QR Code:
- Use your camera to scan the QR code on your NFC card.
- Complete the Process:
- Once scanned, your card will be successfully linked.
For System Administrators:
- Access the Dashboard:
- Open the Webotic.One dashboard via the Mobile App or Web Dashboard*.
- Navigate to Card Management:
- Go to “Card Management > Card Users”.
- Select the Targeted Card User:
- Click the “Edit” button for the user you want to link with the NFC card.
- Go to the NFC Link Tab:
- Open the “NFC Link” tab.
- Open the Scanner:
- Click on the “Open the Scanner” button in the “WEBOTIC.ONE NFC CARD” widget box.
- Scan the QR Code:
- Use your camera to scan the QR code on the NFC card.
- Complete the Process:
- Once scanned, the NFC card will be successfully linked to the user’s account.
*Note: If you are using the Web dashboard on a PC, you will need a webcam to complete the process.
Troubleshooting
If you receive a prompt stating that the card is already linked to another account:
- Inform your System Administrator and ask them to unlink the NFC card so you can re-link it to your user account.
- Share your card’s serial number with your System Administrator to help them identify the correct card.
This will allow the System Administrator to locate and unlink the card from its current account, enabling you to link it to your user account successfully.
